Premise
In the finale of Quinten Tarantino's shout out to martial arts movies, Uma Thurman fulfills her revenge against her former co-assassins.
Who should watch
Martial arts and Tarantino fans. Those who liked the first half of the saga.
Thoughts
Even though this was made at the same time as 'Kill Bill Volume 1', it felt like a different movie. There was still some butt-kicking, shout outs, and unique fights and dialogue. The conclusion packed some emotional punch.
Unfortunately, it lacked the enthusiasm of the first. In 'Volume 1', I felt the joy of film making with the cool music and editing. In this movie, everything was more straightforward. Audiences expecting the same amount of fun in the second half will disappointed.
What I would change
Between the two halves, spread out the fun stuff with the heavier stuff more evenly, so they will feel like two halves of the same movie.
