Premise
Johnny Depp stars in Hunter S. Thompson's novel about a journalist and his lawyer friend's psychedelic trip through Las Vegas.

Thoughts
It's been a while, but I remember it being very trippy yet entertaining. Terry Gilliam was the perfect director to helm the meandering, visually dizzying style. I enjoyed Depp's performance, as well as Benicio del Toro and Christina Ricci. As fun as the acid trip was, I never could figure out what the purpose of the story was. Seemed more like an excuse for drugged-out visuals and wacky performances than anything deeper.

What I would change
No idea.
