Thoughts
I had a blast. The movie never ran out of funny scenes. It also stayed away from sappy-ness or parent-child weirdness.
I was very impressed with Linsday Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis' comedy acting. I think parents would enjoy this as much as their kids.
I have not seen the original, so I cannot compare the two.
