Premise
In 1944 Spain, the daughter of an army general encounters dangers in her fantasy world and at the outpost defending against rebels.

Who should watch
Open-minded people who like trippy movies. Fans of Mexican film-making.

Thoughts
Unlike everyone else, I did not see what was so great about it. It felt like just an exercise in well-made, trippy special effects. I did not see a parallel or reason between real and fantasy world. The computer graphics and puppets were top notch and wonderful. I especially loved the nasty scene where a man sews up his mouth, which was just sliced open like the Joker from Batman.

What I would change
Find a better purpose for the fantasy scenes in relation to the real-life storylines.
