Thoughts
This movie was a must see for one reason: Harryhausen's amazing special effects. With some imagination and countless man-hours of stop motion animation, they were able to create a 300 feet tall titans and skeleton armies. Sure, some footage was out of focus, but most of it holds up by today's standards.
I could rewatch the skeleton fight forever. The actors had to choreograph so their weapons would stop in mid-swing, then Harryhausen had to animate skeletons blocking that swing. Everything had to be perfectly aligned, timed and lit.
As movie, this was a perfect summer movie: exotic locations, epic adventures, expensive special effects, cool action. The only thing I did not like was that the loose ends were not tied up at the end. It ended too abruptly.
What I would change
Resolved the ending.
