Thoughts
It was definitely entertaining and interesting. I was intrigued by the plot, especially when things spiraled out of control as Damon became unglued. Meanwhile, the protagonist was quite a character, with his ADD-like internal monologues during important expositions and quirky delusions of grandeur. Director Steven Soderbergh harnessed that energy and creativity to tell a light-hearted, charming story.
Unfortunately, what made Damon's character special also made him hard to like. I understand his behavior was driven by his mental state, but there were one too many times when he behaved too dumb or goofy to be able to take him seriously as a hero.
Bottom line: The Informant! is borderline recommendable thanks to a very good performance by Damon and wacky story, just expect a lot of face-palming..
What I would change
Not sure.
