Premise
Beat Takeshi directs and stars as a yakuza right-hand man, forced to do his boss's dirty work.

Liked
Interesting human violence.

Disliked
Predictable story.

Thoughts
A pretty cool Asian mobster flick.

It had good acting and the occasional fun flair.  Takeshi did a pretty good job of distinguishing characters when the cast is a bunch of Asian yakuza dressed up in suits all the time.  But probably the best part was some of the creative death scenes and moments of bodily harm.

What didn't work was that it was too plot-driven and predictable.  Once you recognize the downward spiral, you know what will inevitably happen, especially viewers familiar with Asian films.  There weren't really any interesting or sympathetic characters, and I had trouble keeping track of all the minor characters killing and double-crossing each other.

Outrage was well made with some grisly but not grotesque violence.  However it was far from memorable.
