Jet Li stars as Chinese folk hero Wong Fei-Hong as he takes on evil foreigners.
Thoughts
My memory is a bit hazy, but as a pure martial arts action flick, this my favorite Jet Li film. Unlike Jackie Chan movies, this one was all business. I loved the high-speed camera work, the excellent wire work, and most importantly, Jet Li's amazing kung fu and stunts. At times the Li's acts of violence had a lyrical vibe to it. If you want to see him at his peak, I highly recommend this one.
