Premise
Part of ESPN's 30 for 30 series, a documentary by Ron Shelton about Michael Jordan's brief stint as a minor league baseball player.

Liked
Some new facts and baseball footage.

Disliked
The lack of depth.

Thoughts
Somewhat interesting.

There were some nuggets of information, such as Jordan improving quite well in the second half of his baseball career, that his dad's body never had an autopsy, and that MLB's strike might have been the only thing to stop him from continuing baseball. Also, there was some cool footage of him playing that I've never seen before. Throughout the documentary I kept wondering how different this story might have played out in the current internet/phone camera/24-hour news world.

What was interesting was the point of view from a Sports Illustrated reporter, whose words were spun by his editors at the beginning, then blocked at the end of Jordan's baseball stint.

Simply put, I never found the documentary interesting enough. You would think the greatest basketball player leaving to play baseball would lead to a compelling story. It never really dived into any of the details, and it lacked anything/anyone emotional for me to attach to.

Overall, I was disappointed that it was not interesting.

What I would change
Not sure.
