Most Underrated:
A tie between All is Lost and Captain Phillips.

Most Overrated/Disappointing:
American Hustle, I don't think it should've gotten that many nominations.

Least Liked:
The Family. I was also very unhappy with the gratuitous 9/11 imagery in Man of Steel and Star Trek Into Darkness.

Another cop out. Tie between Frozen and Gravity. Honorable mentions: Behind the CandelabraSpring Breakers.

Favorite Best Picture Nominee:

Favorite Film Not Nominated For Best Picture:
Before Midnight. Frankly, it's a travesty this didn't get the tenth slot for Best Picture.

Favorite Movies of the Year:
Since summer, Before Midnight was the front-runner, then Gravity happened. Captain Phillips and Her made a valiant effort, but it was always a two-horse race.

Final rankings:
Gravity
Before Midnight
Captain Phillips
Her
Frozen
12 Years a Slave
