Premise
In the second entry of the franchise, Hogwarts is besieged by mysterious attacks, and Harry hears voices in his head.
Thoughts
Early on, this was my least favorite film, but after I read the books and the big picture was revealed, it was more likable.
The kids were cute as a button and definitely getting into the swing of things. Jason Isaacs was deliciously disdainful as Malfoy's father. Kenneth Branagh delivered the comedy in spades. Also, the Dobby subplot became much more likable once I read the seventh book.
Like director Chris Columbus' first attempt, this too was on the slow side. The Quidditch and wizard classes were fun, but I'd look at the clock and realize it wasn't until halfway through when things finally started happening.
What I would change
Again, sped things up.
